New phones coming out for T-Mobile Summer 2008? Does anybody know any new phones coming out for T-Mobile Summer 2008? My plan will be up in June and i am wondering if i shoudl switch over to Cingular or not... or atleast somewhere that will have some bad ass phones. I am in college and want something for people around ages 18-22.... so if anybody works for T-mobile or other companies that may have some inside scoop of some cool phones coming out this summer PLEASE leave an answer

My 2 year with cingular is up, what can I do? ? So two years ago my dad got 2 cell phone lines for me and my fiancee now. So far, we have been satisfied with cingular, but we wanna instead of having my dad's name on the account, switch it to my fiancee's. We have paid our bills on time, and never had a problem with cingular. I also, heard that we can upgrade ? our two years are up!What does this mean? 2008 cell phones? I'm 14 and I have a 2 year contract with my cell phone. I have AT&T or Cingular, and I my contract expires next month in May so I need a new cell phone. I want a really new phone, preferably one that hasn't come out yet, or something very recent. Stuff like the LG Voyager, BlackBerry Pearl, RizR, LG EnV2, I've already heard of and looked at so no. 2007 Cell Phone Help? I am a cingular go phone customer and would like to buy a more updated phone (bluetooth, camera, etc.) The new 2008 at&t phones just came out today and I would like to buy a 2007 model phone because their prices will go down. help me decide on cell phone.? Hi. I have a lil debate going I wanna do the right thing..well..a feasable thing.. I have a contract with Cingular until Nov 2008. I got a brand new phone from them and it got broken in May so Im using a crappy old one for now. With my new job I can get a 10% discount on my monthly bill. Unlocked Sidekick 2008 with T-Mobile sim? I have the new Sidekick 2008, but no sidekick data plan. i dont want to buy it and i read that an unlocked sidekick can only be used as a phone and sending sms messages if unlocked with a different sim card (i.e. cingular of AT&T). Legacy AT&T SIM card: can I upgrade and should I do so? I am a legacy AT&T customer and I don't want to lose my plan. First Question: The only way I can upgrade my phone equipment is to buy a phone that is compatible with an OLD ATT SIM card. I've done that once already, but now I'm wondering whether and can upgrade to a much newer phone (just a year old or so) by getting the phone unlocked. Second question: I just read (on Yahoo! Answers) that all legacy ATT devices would stop working in 2008. I don't know if that is still true, now that ATT has bought (back) the business from Cingular. broken cell phone? my cell phone is broken.. it got bad water damage a long time ago and now will not work at all .... it comes on and then the screen goes out then the key lights go out then the whole thing shuts off.. it keeps doing that till u take out the battery.. i have a new cell phone but it sucks.. i want to get this one fixed! if not i have to wait another year (well..until next december 2008) is there anything i could do.. i took it to the at&t store but since i had no insurance and it showed that it had water damage.. they wont fix it.. Has anyone else experienced these problems with sprint? So in october of 2008 my mom switched us over to sprint after 10 years with cingular/att. She was upset about their customer relations and lack of sociable people working in our local at&t stores, we didn't have this problem at our sprint store at the time. They were very curtious and took care of all of our problems quickly and the people were pretty nice. Well last October I used mySprint Premier upgrade and went from a palm centro, to a blackberry tour 9630. Well I'm in may and on my 5th handset needing a 6th but my insurance claims for the year have "been maxed out" because the total protection coverage (that cost $7 extra a month) only covers $1500 worth of claims. We've taken the phone to the store, and was given the run around, so we called customer service (and were hung up on multiple times) and one CSR put in the form to get me a new phone ordered without sending me over to the replacement team, when that phone never came we called back (yesterday) and this is when we found out about the insurance denial because of to many claims. What do they expect me to do? pay $7 dollars extra when I can't make a claim and need to, and deal with a broken phone? I can't read any of my text messages I recieve and when I do send one it sends 8 messages+ to the person recieving the message. I also get no cell service, my phone freezes constantly, and yes they have updated and reset the phone. There's no fix to the problems I've had with customer service. When I told them my trackball stopped working they said "its impossible because blackberry replaced the trackball so no user would experience that problem" I never said it was having the issues they recalled the phones for with the Verizon Release, just that my trackball wasn't responding to the phone's software. What am I supposed to do? How can I get a working phone I'm 16 and need to be able to contact my parents and other family members. I don't want to pay for a broken phone who's services I can't use.

I just finished gathering my information to prepare my 2008 taxes and realized that I paid AT&T $586.61 for the year (or approximately $48.00 per month) I understand that for the average user this amount is relatively low. After checking my usage time my cell phone use per month is 60 to 80 minutes a month (one hour and 20 minutes). My summary of minutes on this months bill is: Anytime Minutes - Used 0 of 450 Night/Weekend Minutes - Used 0 of 5,000 Rollover Minutes - Used 0 of 3,314 372 Rollover Minutes will expire on 01/27/2009 I contacted AT&T (via email) about lowering my monthly service plan, and they explained I was already using the less expensive plan that they offered. My question is two part: 1.) Without a doubt a “Pay as You Go” plan will best serve my purpose. For the most part, the $586.61 I paid last year was nothing more than burning money. I logged onto the AT&T website and started playing around. To activate a Go Phone, you must enter your SIM card number as well as the phone serial number. I did all this and got as far as the “pay for minutes” page and stopped. I wanted to make sure this was ok with AT&T before I went any further. Of course they are closed for the weekend, so that put a stop to my plans, but I now know you don’t "REALLY" have to buy a special $9.99 to $49.99 “Go Phone”. * Do you think AT&T will try to prevent me from converting my current Nokia phone to a pay as you go phone? I haven’t been under a Cingular/AT&T service plan since 2006, I just kept using the service. They won’t make any money off me (i.e. selling me a new phone and the lost of $40+ per month). I understand the program (.10 per minute and $1.00 for each day the phone is used), but I could never run up $50 per month, which is what I'm paying now. Has anybody ever tried this before? My screen went out on my RAZR...? I have a regular Black Moto V3 RAZR, I've had it since June of 2006, and the screen went out on it. I don't know what happen, I looked at it this afternoon, and realized it was just black, both the regular screen and the one on the outside. I know I didn't drop the phone or do anything to make it happen, it's just black. I can still make calls and hear sounds from it and stuff. Does anyone know what might have happen, or what Cingular/AT&T can do about it with me getting a new phone, since my contract isn't up till 2008??? Thanks!!!

Is it possible to trade in a phone if it doesnt work for a different phone [cingular/at&t]? So i bought the quickfire phone november/december sometime in 2008 and the touch screen was always slow or i had to keep punching in the same thing for it to go. Overall, i did not like the phone, the charger broke [i take very well care of my things] the touch screen is slow and it just sucks and yeah. i just hated it. But i know that if i take it back they are just going to give me the same phone back. i dont want it. i want a different one. so would they let me have a different phone for the same price or less without another 2 year contract?

What can a person do when they are being grossly overcharged by their cell phone company? We have been overcharged by the thousands in the last year by ATT Cingular 2007 2008. For mistakes that they said they would fix yet never did. They did not adjust or credit our auto pay with free phone credit and did not reinburse our visa accounts. Yet instead they continued charging us the regular rates + the overcharges. In gross amounts exceeding our monthly charges that are normally supposed to be within the under 500 a month limit. Instead they charged us in the 1000's.Now we are being bounced back to different offices within the ATT corp. Because nobody seems to want to reinburse us back to our now, over the limit visa. Is Verizon is pretty much owning the cell phone business? Verizon bought cingular and MCI, and cingular is working with AT&T. The only other business is sprint, and they're not doing so well. I'll say in 2008 they'll be out of business. That is almost like a monopoly.

Help! How can I improve my credit scores!? I was careless a few years ago when I was offered a cell phone by what used to be Cingular, and I had a credit card, well I got careless and immature and maxed out my credit card which is now in collections and so is my cell phone bill. I had a land line through which used to be Southwestern Bell that I finally settled on. This is my current debt - Cell Phone in collections - Was $1700 now it's $1313. Scheduled to be payed off by September 2009 Credit Card in collections - Was $1000 now it's about $450. Scheduled to be payed off by October 2009. I had $4,000 in debt and I have payed off $2,000 in six months. I also have two loans out, one I re-financed 6 times and the other I re-financed twice. The first loan is $990, I've kept that in good standing for two years, Monthly payments of $110 and the other is a $270 loan paying $45 a month. I want to get a cell phone through sprint but back in October 2008 they wanted a $500 deposit, now I asked them again this month and my deposit is $150, so I must have improved on something. My credit scores are 610 for Equifax, 590 for Experian and 586 for TransUnion, I was hoping to get a credit card to re-establish good credit, they offer a secured card but I don't want to get one with a $300 limit, keep my amount on it near $75 or a $100 and not help my credit scores any. So what can I do to improve my credit, I was dumb and stupid and let my credit get away from me. Now I'm trying to dig out of a 100 foot hole with a sharp shooter!

My cell phone is displaying the wrong time even though it's set to auto-update.? I have Cingular/AT&T in California. This morning (5/3/2008) I noticed the time jumped one hour ahead around 2:45AM. It corrected itself around 6AM. I'm not sure what happened throughout the day but sometime in the afternoon, it jumped one hour ahead again. As of 9PM, it still reads 10PM. The phone is set to automatically update the time. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?. Is it with AT&T/Cingular or all carriers?

So i've had this iPhone since early september 2008 i have had a few problems with charging and such but not this now my phone i plugged it in and its still not charging it shows the battery and i can still use it but its not charging at all i left it in the plug over night and it still has that really small sliver of charge i don't want to go to apple just yet but i am going to be by a cingular today and going to ask but i know that they wont help very much so answer and i'll vote for the best answer(:
