How can I get my new MMC Plus 256MB memory card to work in my Nokia 6230i? I have tried putting it in the phone and although on the gallery and memory menus I can see the card with 244.5MB available, I am unable to save any data onto it. Anybody got the Nokia 5800? I'm looking into getting a contract phone as my phone (nokia n95) screen is slightly going. Plus i want a better offer cause currently i only get free texts to o2 numbers for a £10 top up. I've seen the Nokia 5800 advertised on the Dial-A-Phone website for £16.69 effective cost per month (half price line rental for 12 months for the 18month contract) The offer sounds great as it's not much more than what i'm paying now and i get 600 mins & unlimited texts. The phone looks decent, similar type gadgets to the Nokia N95 but i'm not entirely sure on this phone, I've gone through review after review and i get the impression the phones good but yet there still seems to be few people who state the cons. (all phones have them) But if anyone has the phone please give me your own personal review. & would it be more of a step-up from the N95 or a step down? I love my N95 it's a brilliant phone, i'd love the N97 but the contracts are whey to expensive for my liking.

What Nokia is good? I'm looking for buy a Nokia phone but no idea which one is good. I live in Asia so my options are a lot wider than NA's phones =) It has to be relatively new so it's stylish but it doesnt have to be one of the latest model. I dont care much for video or camera quality... Good MP3 with a lot of storage size is a big plus I dont want it too be fat or thin... text messaging problems with nokia phone!! ? i got a nokia phone( no idea what type though) and i got it off someone who had already been using it. the problem i have sometimes, is that when my inbox has got around 13 plus messages in it, every time i try to send a message, it tells me that i need to delete stuff to have enough space to send. im also unable to receive messages sometimes, and a my phone tells me i have to delete more stuff to make space to receive messages. its weird though, cos in the setting menu it says that i have 43.7 mb of free memory and that ive only used up 16.2 mb. this is really annoying me so any help on how to sort this out would be very much appreciated.

Nokia 5310 mobile phone help? On the nokia 5310, if you press the play button on the phone music starts playing. Is there anyway I can make it so it doesn't, because I'm scared that music will start playing from my phone if the play button gets pressed accidentally at school. About the Nokia N70 photo & video editor default software application, where can I download these? I own said phone model and everything is working fine except for its default photo & video software apps. I'm going out of my head searching various Nokia, symbian, 3G plus other related websites for these apps. I was able to download some apps of other Nokia models but none worked on the N70 (can't get any for N70!!!). I would appreciate very much if someone could point me to the right website (or weblink) to download the apps. I'd really like to do this first over the net rather than to go out and drive for miles to a service center. Also, anyone else who experienced this very annoying problem? How was it solved? I'm getting an upgrade, should i buy the Nokia Express 5800 phone or the Sony Ericsson c902? I'm on contract and every two years I get a cellphone upgrade... I looked through the list of phones available and have decided that I want to get either the Nokia Music Xpress 5800 or the Sony Ericsson c902... I have heard equally good and bad feedback about the Nokia Xpress, and generally good feedback about the Sony Ericsson but I'm still in need of some good advice. Really don't know which is better! My main focus areas are: running mxit (I.M) easy typing, durability, good quality because it has to last two years, easy to use, looks nice, preferably good pictures, memory. Why is my phone pending not sending messages? I am having a problem with my Nokia phone on PLus netwrok (they use t -mobile I think.) For sometime (first happened in April) certain messages are pending and no report is sent to me say not sent despite me having set to get delivery reports. Now it is getting worse and no messages are sending (since 19th August) I have been through all settings with the phone company twice. It is nothing to do with other numbers as there are so many and their phones are turned on and not full and getting all other messages fine. I am really fed up but reluctant to change networks as I don't use the phone much and have had the same number for years. Please HELP!!!!!

Thinking about Nokia Twist Phone? I am getting a new phone soon, and the Nokia Twist 7705 looks rather interesting. I like the different look and it's size but I am curious as to what people think who actually OWN the phone. I heard complaints that the battery life is not that well? How bad is it exactly? The phone I have now is pretty bad with battery (I have to charge it everyday and even with that it somehow gets to low battery by the end of the same day). Nokia shouldn't be as bad as that, yes? Also, is the camera semi decent? (phone now is just a 1.3 megapixel camera, meh) I mainly use my phone for calls and texts which is why the keyboard is a plus. pay as you go or contracted mobile phones, which actually are the cheaper to buy? on my pay as you go, i spend about £30 a month on it, that's enough for 25 msg's, plus some free one's, contracted mobiles, do they still work the same as pay as you go, my reason for asking is, i am fed up of topping up my phone every five minutes, when i am having convo's with m8's, i can only talk to one at a time, speak to, say three or four m8's, makes my phone run out of credit very quickly, my other reason for wanting a contracted phone, is bcoz i want a better brand of phone, i usually go for sony ericcson, motorola or samsung, bout time i got a decent phone, also with current mob, i can't send pics, i have a dongle, i've linked upto my pc, but nothing works, it's about two years old though, should i stick with my usually brands or are lg and nokia, worth considering, how do contracted phones actually work, i was checking out some website this afternnon and there seems to be some good deals, is this a good rate for con mob, £12.50 for 500 text or 300 minutes, for 3 months

iPhone on a 3-phone family plan? Okay, so my dad, my big bro and I are on a 2100-minute plan with AT&T. My dad and big bro are fine with their crappy Nokia phones, but I want an iPhone. My dad has agreed to get me one when our contract expires (which will be about a year from now, unless we can get one at the new contract price without actually getting a new contract or in some other way). We currently pay (or should pay) about $158/month for all three phones. that's the 2100-minute plan ($110) plus another phone ($10) plus unlimited text on one phone ($20) plus bullshit fees (normally around 25 bucks or so). They plan on keeping their phones unless they can find a couple of new free phones that they like better. I'll be upgrading from my razr v3xx. When we change contracts, we're planning on downgrading the plan to a 1400-minute plan because we haven't even used 1400 minutes of our 2100 plan yet and whatever we can drop, we want to drop. So what i'm wondering is: How much is going to be added to the bill overall if we switch one line to an iPhone? Nothing else is going to be added or subtracted from the bill aside from the plan downgrade, which will drop from 110 for the plan to 90 for the plan. Also, what can and can't you be charged for doing on an iPhone? What extra fees could be added on for something i might do?

I need a phone with a reminder like Nokia 6010? The calender/reminder in Nokia 6010 (old old phone) is awesome. I still have the phone with no cell service attached to it just so I can still used the calendar/reminder and the alarm. My new Nokia n75 does not compare. This 6010 does not have the capability (or so they tell me) of taking the date/reminder data and putting it in another phone, the Sim card only has the phone book on it. If you know what I am talking about please tell me what newer phones or data device with phone you would recommend that would be equally as good. This one allows for MANY reminders each day with an alarm, plus you can have it repeat, or copy it, or move it etc.

The nokia is a really amazing phone feature wise but i'm not sure i would use all of them where as the iPhone looks amazing and the having the real internet on my phone isn't bad either aswell as the huge screen which is a big plus as i would want to watch movies. But im not sure wether i just want the phone for the look and would waste all the money on that as the nokia is worth the money. Still the sleek sexy iPhone keeps drawing me back.

Anyone else think LockLine Insurance is a ripoff? So my phone just went dead the other day, I have the lockline insurance. Turns out my phone is no longer available its been discontinued, so they sent me a refurbished Nokia which doesnt even come close to the quality of my old phone. I paid more in premiums and the deductible than the dang nokia is worth new. If I wanted a cheap phone I would have bought a cheap phone. Plus i get the phone today, minus the battery. Hello people, gotta have the battery.

Nokia 6288 Vs Sony Ericsson K610? I have been offered a free upgrade and have the choice of these two handsets. I've pretty much always used Nokia so that's a big plus. The Salesman is really talking up the Sony phone though and he does make it sound good, but I'm unsure if he just wants to get rid of them or if it is better. Things I care about: Memory space for music Decent Camera Good battery life (my current nokia - 6280 has an awful battery life and that really puts me out) These are the main things I want opinions about, plus anything else you think matters.
