Do flash lights on camera phones last long? Or do they stop working? What to do if that happens?

If a camera flash light on a camera phone stops functioning can it be replaced? Has this happened to you? I'm going to buy a camera phone with a flash light, so should I be concerned about the life of the flash light? Thanks.

1. No I wouldn't be concerned. It can't be replaced but seriously it is a phone not a camera. It should last the life time of the phone. If you are like most people you will upgrade your phone in a year or so anyway.
2. The "flash light" on most cameraphones is usually a simple LED bulb. Which typically can last many years, or even decades. Better phones sometimes have small xenon flash bulbs... the same kind you would find in a real camera. These too have a fairly good longevity. So as David points out, you'll probably replace the phone loooong before that bulb burns out.
