Questions about Cingular and upgrading phones?
I have a few questions about upgrading my phone so if anybody could answer any of these questions, that'll be great. I have cingular with a 3 person family plan. My contract has ended so can i get 3 new phones or do i only get to upgrade one of the three lines? Also, I am planning to move soon so after i set up a contract, can i change my number so it will match the area code? And will i be able to upgrade and downgrade my account type after I start up the contract? Thats all. Thanks

- If your contract has ended you can renew your contract and get 3 new phones. Sometimes, on family plans, if you did not activate everything on the same day, the contract end dates may be different for each line. If you are planning on moving, they can set you up with a new number either before or after you move. just call customer service or go into a store. you can change your account, as in add a line, or increase/decrease the number of minutes, however if you want to get rid of line, you must wait until the contract on that line is over before you can do that. otherwise, they charge you a cancellation fee.
